NOTICE OF VOTING LOCATION
FOR NON-REGISTERED VOTERS
State law allows a Smithfield resident* who
was unable to register as a new voter on or
before the registration deadline of
Saturday, October 4, 2008, to cast a limited
vote on Election Day, Tuesday, November 4,
for the position of U.S.
President/Vice-President (no local
candidates, no local questions) at the
following designated location:
Smithfield
Senior Center
Directions: Pleasant View Avenue, to Indian
Run Trial, left
onto One William J. Hawkins Trail
*must be a Smithfield resident and 18 years
old on/before November 4,
2008.

between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30
p.m., Monday – Friday, or go online to:

download an absentee ballot application.
