Smithfield Human Services & Food Pantry Gives Thanks

On behalf of Smithfield Human Services & Food Pantry we would like to thank all the very generous businesses, organizations, town residents, and anonymous donors who have worked continuously over the summer months supporting the pantry, and our programs.

During the month of June Fidelity Investments held their annual food drive (see photo below) that assisted us with keeping the pantry well stocked over the summer months while the kids were out of school. The pantry is run off of donations from the community, and the continued outpouring of support we have received from Fidelity goes above and beyond.

Fidelity Investments Annual Food Drive

In August Fidelity Investments (see photo below) assisted Smithfield Human Services by donating back packs for Smithfield’s school age children, along with some very generous town residents. Together we collected a total of 20 backpacks filled with school supplies, and stuffed with child friendly snacks for children in families in the greatest need. Fidelity Investments employees have continually displayed great generosity towards Smithfield Human Services, and Food Pantry programs. Thank you Fidelity Investments for sharing your valuable time and efforts freely and abundantly. Human Services wants you to know how much of a valuable impact you are having on the community. Thank you for your continued support.

Fidelity Investments assisted Smithfield Human Services by donating several back packs with supplies for Smithfield’s school age children.

The Smithfield Human Services & Food Pantry provides food supplements throughout the year, and heating assistance throughout the winter season. We run a back to school program, a holiday program, and also advocate for any local issue that is related to a basic human need. Our pantry runs on donations from the community, and we could not do it without your support.
