FUNCTION:
The Smithfield Municipal Ice Rink rents ice time to the various youth,
high school, and adult groups in the Town of Smithfield as well as other
surrounding Northern Rhode Island Communities. We are the Home Ice for
the Bryant University Bulldogs Hockey Team, the Smithfield Figure
Skating Club, the Northern Rhode Island Viking Youth Hockey Program, and
the Smithfield High School, Johnston High School, and Scituate High
School varsity hockey teams.
The Ice Rink also provides public
skating hours for the general public on Sundays 12pm – 2pm and weekdays Tuesdays and Fridays
12pm
–2pm. In addition we rent ice time for birthday parties for all ages
and have a spacious conference room for rent to accommodate for all
kinds of gatherings. Please come and join us during our public skating
hours and during other skating events for an enjoyable ice-skating
experience in a wonderful community environment.

Goalies are Free of Charge
Note: Full equipment is required for admittance to the Ice surface.
Public Free Style Rates:
$6.00 per ½ hour, $12.00 per hour, $20.00 for 2 hours, and $30.00 for 3
hours.
Note: All skaters must have completed Basic Level 8 to be eligible for
this session.

This open skating session is a set aside for Figure Skaters of all ages
who have completed Basic Level 8 to practice their moves, jumps, and
programs in a public session.
