Beacon Hospice Seeks Local Volunteers

Beacon Hospice believes that every person deserves to die with dignity, free of pain and as comfortable as possible. Susan Schank, of Beacon Hospice, will explain the mission and philosophy of Beacon Hospice and how volunteers can help.
Volunteer can help by spending time with patients, watching TV, reading, talking, or even taking them outside. Volunteers can also be of assistance by knitting crocheting or scrap booking. For more information there will be a program at the East Smithfield Public Library on Friday August 8th at 2:00pm.
