V.        Minutes: 

A.  Move that the minutes of the open and closed sessions of the September 1, 2009 Town Council meeting be approved, as recorded, and that the closed session minutes be sealed.
 

VI.       Licenses and Permits: To consider and act upon the following matters: 

A.  Consider approving the renewal of a Victualling License for 44 Hersha Smithfield, LLC, d/b/a Hampton Inn & Suites, 945 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, pending compliance with all State regulations, local ordinances and final State Health Department approval.

B.   Consider approving a 1-day Beer and Wine License for St. Philip Council #11087, Knights of Columbus, for a Parish Steak Fry on October 24, 2009, at the St. Philip Parish Center, 618 Putnam Pike, Smithfield, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., pending compliance with all State regulations and local ordinances.

C.   Consider approving a 1-day Beer and Wine License for Bryant University for a BLC Gala Dinner on October 2, 2009, at the George E. Bello Center for Information and

Technology, 1150 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m., pending compliance with all State regulations and local ordinances. 

D.  Consider approving a new Holiday Sales License for Lerner New York, Inc., d/b/a “New York & Co. #725”, 371 Putnam Pike, Smithfield, pending compliance with all State regulations and local ordinances.

E.   Consider approving a 2-day Special Event License for W/S Smithfield, LLC, for a two-day “Celebrate Smithfield Festival” on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 2009, at The Crossings at Smithfield, 371 Putnam Pike, Smithfield, pending compliance with all State regulations, local ordinances, and approvals of the Police Chief, Fire Chief and Building/Zoning Official.

VII.      Public Hearings:  To consider and act upon the following matters:

A.  Conduct a Public Hearing to consider adopting an ordinance relating to victualling licenses.

B.   Consider continuing to November 17, 2009 the Public Hearing scheduled to consider amending the zoning ordinance with respect to the property of Churchill & Banks Properties, LLC.

C.   Consider continuing to November 3, 2009 the Public Hearings scheduled to consider amending the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Ordinance with respect to the following properties:

AP 45, Lot 18                         AP 46, Lot 76

VIII.     Old Business:  None
